The ACT Centre is committed to making a meaningful contribution towards Aboriginal social and emotional wellbeing. Our practice works closely with many Aboriginal primary health care sites within metropolitan, regional, and remote South Australia. Our psychologists have experience in working with Aboriginal children, adolescents, and adults in the area of mental health, trauma, and relationships.

The ACT Centre is excited to partnership with Aboriginal Community Connect and the Adelaide PHN to provide mental health services to Aboriginal clients in Prospect. Aboriginal Community Connect provides alcohol and other drug treatment services for Aboriginal people and their families, along with case management, residential rehabilitation, and social/emotional wellbeing support. The ACT Centre psychologists will be onsite at 196 Prospect Rd from Monday – Friday, no referral or booking required.

Aboriginal Suicide Prevention Service – The ACT Centre is currently funded by the Adelaide PHN to provide short term intervention to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients who may be at risk of self-harm or who had a previous suicide attempt.
